Non è stato un problema in quanto, una volta chiamata l’assistenza, sono stati molto rapidi e gentili, mettendomi a disposizione una nuova camera. Purtroppo la camera era molto piccola (letto singolo, nonostante avessi prenotato una camera con letto matrimoniale), pareti molto sottili che non mi hanno fatto dormire tutte la notte visto il via-vai di gente per il condominio.

Negative: We paid an extra €20 for a late check-out, but unfortunately the experience did not go as expected. We had no electricity throughout the entire morning, which made things very difficult for us and caused several unexpected inconveniences, especially when we needed to use appliances, pack our belongings, and prepare to leave. We understand that unforeseen issues can happen, but since we paid an additional fee to stay longer, we expected better conditions. It would be important to ensure that situations like this are prevented or, at the very least, that guests are offered a solution when they occur.

Porta Batalha was a little difficult to find for first timers. We arrived on a Saturday so had free parking on street until Sunday night, and moved to paid parking with discount coupon from MyStay. Centrally located, we saw all the sites in Porto we had on list… even in the rain. The balcony worked out well for us. The space was compact but the bed was comfortable, shower worked well and having a fridge, microwave cooking utensils, kettle, cups, glasses etc.. was good. Walls were paper thin and could hear person in next room snoring. Not having a front desk with a support person was unsettling. We didn’t have any issues but one other couple had no power for a couple days and a second couple could not get code to work to get into room… someone on site could have handled those issues easily where all you really have is AI communication.

Nicht zu empfehlen Positive: Die zentrale Lage Negative: Das Zimmer war sauber, aber insgesamt schon etwas abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig. Im Bad ist an verschiedenen Stellen Schimmel, was widerlich ist. Das bestellte Frühstück wurde leider nicht geliefert🤷🏻‍♀️ (vielleicht auch an eine andere Tür gehängt) Das Möbel auf dem Balkon roch verschimmelt. Der Checkin und die Öffnung der Zimmertür hat bei uns geklappt, aber bei vielen anderen Gästen nicht. Es gab keine Möglichkeit mit einem Menschen zu telefonieren. Bei der angegebenen Telefonnummer war niemand zu erreichen und auf schriftliche Nachrichten hat eine KI geantwortet, die jedoch letztlich keine Lösung liefern konnte. Manche Gäste sind aus Verzweiflung in ein anderes Hotel gegangen. Das ist ein Unding und und eine teure Lösung, da die Hotels in Porto nicht gerade günstig sind. Bei mehreren gebuchten Übernachtungen ist das eine teure Angelegenheit.
